He spent time with me on the phone trying to understand exactly what the problems were and possible solutions.  He did offer to come take a look and see what we could find but recommended a certified GE repair specialist because of the issues.  Either way he spent time trying to help me over the phone and wouldn’t let me pay him for his time.  This is rare nowadays and I appreciate that he wanted to help.

My dryer runs but doesn't heat, what's usually wrong?

That’s most often a heating element on an electric dryer, or an igniter or gas valve issue on a gas dryer. Either way, it’s a common, fixable problem, not a sign the whole dryer is done.

Is it worth repairing an older washer or dryer?

Usually, if it’s the first real issue and the machine isn’t already near the end of its typical 10 to 15 year lifespan. If it’s a repeat repair on an old unit, that’s a different conversation, and I’ll tell you honestly which one you’re in.

Do you repair portable or stackable washers and dryers?

Yes, portable dryer repair and stackable units are both something I handle, not just full-size side-by-side machines.

My washer is leaking, is that urgent?

It’s worth addressing quickly, even a small leak can lead to water damage the longer it continues. Don’t wait on this one.
